Senior Manager - Cargo Sales South
Job Description
A. Job Purpose
o To lead and drive cargo sales initiatives within specified regions, maximizing revenue growth and ensuring strategic alignment with Air India’s overarching sales objectives.
o To oversee the implementation of regional sales strategies, focusing on customer relationships, market penetration, and compliance with regulatory standards
B. Key Accountabilities
o Regional Sales Strategy Development
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to regional market conditions and opportunities. Ensure these strategies are in line with national objectives and contribute significantly to the overall revenue targets.
o Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key regional clients, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Negotiate contracts and manage ongoing client interactions to secure sustained business growth.
o Performance and Compliance Monitoring
• Establish key performance indicators for regional sales activities. Monitor and report on regional sales performance, ensuring compliance with both internal standards and external regulatory nrequirements.
o Team Leadership and Development
• Lead a team of sales professionals within the region. Set clear objectives, mentor staff, and foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
o Collaborative Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with the Operations, Product Development, and Pricing teams to align regional sales efforts with broader cargo services and pricing strategies.

D. Educational and Experience Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Management: Operations Management or Services Marketing
Minimum - 12+ years of experience in a Sales / Account management / Commercial Operations
Desired - 15+ years of experience in a Sales / Account management / and also need product development experience. Cargo experience is an additional advantage
