Long Description
- To oversee the efficient, cost-effective, and compliant operation of all workshops (excluding NDT) under the Workshop Operations function, ensuring high-quality maintenance of customer aircraft, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to regulatory and company standards while meeting maintenance and profit targets..
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the efficient, profitable, and cost-effective operation of workshops under direct charge to meet maintenance and financial objectives.
- Ensure effective deployment and utilization of production resources to achieve assigned and projected maintenance and profit targets.
- Oversee maintenance works on customer aircraft, ensuring compliance with airworthiness requirements, regulatory standards, company policies, and quality guidelines.
- Implement and enforce divisional procedures, processes, and measures related to aircraft maintenance within the workshop facility.
- Supervise Workshop Authorization Holders (AHs), Workshop Technicians, and Trainees to ensure they adhere to company policies, guidelines, and their respective terms of reference.
Long Description
- Plan, budget, and acquire assets and equipment to ensure timeliness, adequacy, and safety of workshop operations.
- Forecast, budget, plan, and provision staff requirements to meet operational timelines and projected profits.
- Administer overall discipline, performance management, and development of all staff under direct charge.
- Prepare for and support audits by customers, accreditation bodies, and regulatory authorities, implementing solutions to address audit findings.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
Long Description
- 10+2 (PCM) or Equivalent
- B.Sc / BE / B.Tech / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Avionics) or equivalent.5-7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or workshop operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
