Objective : Plan, deliver effective training to the students and give examinations and assessments to monitor effectivity.

Key Responsibility : 

  1. Conduct courses as per the training schedule.
  2. Prepare notes, diagrams, presentations, hand out etc. for the relevant subjects.
  3. Update training notes about changes in technological development AMM, CMM, SBs, ADs and other technical information.
  4. Responsible for keeping self-updated with changes in curriculum based on manufacturer’s feedback/ internal policy / DGCA requirement.
  5. Maintain a high level of discipline and punctuality amongst course participants and ensure that the rules and regulations of the Training Organization are properly communicated and always adhered.
  6. Provide inputs for update training and associate with e-learning administrator in preparation of lessons for uploading as applicable.
  7. Be responsible for gaining adequate knowledge on aircraft maintenance curriculum and practices.
  8. Ensure that all training aids are correctly utilized and returned after use.
  9. Ensure that the classroom is tidied at the end of each working day.
  10. Revise or revamp course notes on course package assigned.
  11. Organize and conduct aircraft practical training.
  12. Organize and conduct aircraft visits / simulator training (if applicable).
  13. Ensure completion of course records including attendance and course feedback reports as required by the Training Manager.
  14. Prepare the examination and assessment and act as examiner or practical assessor (as applicable).
  15. However, Will not participate in the examination activities for those modules in which he/she has handled classroom training.
  16. Responsible to collect the training feedback from the participants.
  17. Responsible for updating the Training manager of any discrepancy in the training facility, course material, training notes etc.
  18. Encourage use of Technology and Innovations to improve the processes for effective competence buildup within the staff and the students.
  19. Takes part in admission process and supports the administrative personnel in managing the duties.
  20. Other functions as per applicable CAR and the organizational requirements.

Desired Experience:

•Experience in training and examination activities with leading Indian/Global AME school.
•Strong understanding of aviation regulations and examination standards, including those related to engineer instruction and training.

  2. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and innovate, with a strong track record of driving results Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  3. Able to demonstrate with documents, the experience in Aircraft maintenance is preferred.

Qualification:

  1. AME Technician’s Qualification.
    OR
  2. Engineering Graduate (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Aeronautical)
    OR
  3. Previously holding similar position and approved by the regulatory authority for similar role.
  4. Desirable: Hold a CAR 66 aircraft maintenance engineer license applicable to the relevant category/sub-category OR Provide evidence of previous employment as a basic mechanical or electrical engineering training instructor OR Provide evidence of previous employment as a technical training instructor.
