A. Job Purpose:

· To support the execution of commercial and cargo sales strategies within specified domestic regions, aiming to maximise revenue growth and ensure market competitiveness.

· To assist in the management of all domestic sales functions, ensuring alignment with Air India’s commercial objectives and operational standards within the domestic markets.

B. Key Accountabilities:

Support in Sales Strategy Execution

· Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies across domestic markets to drive revenue growth.

Client Relationship Support

· Support in building and maintaining strong relationships with key domestic clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty within the regions.

Performance Monitoring Assistance

· Help measure and analyse domestic sales performance according to the established KPIs, providing regular reports and strategic feedback to enhance sales effectiveness.

Market Analysis Support

· Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities and understand competitor strategies in domestic regions.

Administrative and Operational Support

· Assist with the administrative tasks related to domestic sales, including preparing documentation, handling correspondence, and coordinating meetings.

D. Key Interfaces:

Internal Interfaces

Team Leads and Sales Heads: Provide regular updates and receive strategic guidance. Collaborate on aligning domestic sales activities with broader objectives.

Product Development & Pricing: Coordinate to ensure sales strategies are supported by appropriate product offerings and pricing models within domestic markets.

External Interfaces

Domestic Clients & Business Partners: Engage with Key business clients within domestic markets to negotiate deals and foster business relationships.

Industry Forums: Represent Air India at domestic industry forums and events to promote cargo services and expand network opportunities within the domestic markets.

E. Educational & Experience Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirements: BA/BS Degree in Business, Economics, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or other relevant fields.

Experience:

· Minimum: 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally within the cargo or airline industry, specifically focusing on the domestic markets.

· Desired: 3+ years of experience with comprehensive knowledge of domestic cargo sales, operations, and client management, with proven ability to support complex sales processes and team coordination.
