Assistant Quality
Job Description
Role Purpose
The Assistant Quality supports the Quality Manager in establishing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) of the Flight Training Organisation, ensuring compliance with DGCA regulations, and approved organisational procedures.
Education requirements
Minimum - Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, module 9 & 10 passed of CAR 66, and Lead auditor Training
Desired - Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, module 9 & 10 passed of CAR 66 and Lead auditor Training
Experience requirement:
Minimum -5+ years of aviation experience and minimum 2 years of experience in engineering and audits aviation safety compliances
Prior experience in DGCA-approved positions in FTOs/ ATOs/ Airlines/ NSOPs in India as a quality auditors
Desired - 8+ years of aviation experience and minimum 4 years of experience in audits and quality assurance in aviation
Prior experience with FTO’s
Key Responsibilities
Assistant - Quality will support the Quality Manager to:
Define the organization’s procedures necessary to comply with regulations
Preparing and implementing quality audit programs by performing the necessary audits and inspections.
Implement monitoring actions (audit planning, checklist, notification of possible non-conformities, etc.) and ensure that any non-conformities found are dealt with.
Implement authorization procedure and assist in issue/renewal of authorization to the certifying staff and crew.
Coordinate the organization’s audits carried out by the authority (DGCA).
Implement the event reporting system set up within the organization and notify the authority (DGCA) when necessary.
Support development, regular update and implementation of the quality management system for FTO as per DGCA guidelines.
Support QM in audits of FTO and engineering departments to identify areas of improvement and manage implementation.
