About the Role

The Manager – Sales Strategy will play a critical role in analyzing sales performance and developing strategies to maximize revenue.

This position involves preparing data-driven insights, designing go-to-market plans, and framing sales policies for new products.

The role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and

 enable informed decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities

Performance Analysis

  • Analyze sales data across PoS, channels, products, agents, and routes for comprehensive performance assessment.
  • Own sales performance reports and present analysis summaries.
  • Prepare CXO review decks (quarterly or as required).
  • Provide actionable insights to local sales teams for performance improvement.

Strategy Development

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and prepare reports for strategic recommendations.
  • Perform due diligence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights.
  • Deliver end-to-end analysis and recommendations backed by data and logic.

Process Improvement

  • Suggest enhancements to current reporting methodologies and tools.
  • Work with IT and Finance to resolve discrepancies and refine data collection methods.
  • Maintain documentation of data sources, analysis procedures, and issues for transparency.
  • Participate in feedback sessions to improve analysis techniques and foster continuous learning.

Education & Experience

  • Education: Master’s/MBA/PGDM/PGP in Sales/Marketing
  • Experience:
    • Minimum: 3–5 years of sales experience in the airline industry
    • Desired: 3+ years with proven expertise in sales strategy and analysis
