Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Head of Brand, Social, Design, and Content to develop and implement offline customer experience marketing plans that align with the brand’s business objectives. They will be responsible for driving brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue support through integrated marketing initiatives. This role will lead 360-degree campaign execution, destination marketing, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen Air India Express’ market presence across domestic and international networks.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Management & Campaign Execution
- Own and evolve Air India Express’ brand identity, tone of voice, and narrative across platforms
- Develop and execute brand campaigns to strengthen Air India Express’ brand positioning across channels and customer cohorts.
- Plan and manage ATL, BTL, and digital campaigns end-to-end, ensuring timely execution and alignment with brand objectives.
- Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all customer touchpoints
- Oversee the development of creative assets, content calendars, and customer communication in line with brand guidelines.
- Analyze campaign and brand performance metrics, preparing reports and recommendations for management.
Product Marketing
- Develop and execute product and destination-led marketing strategies to stimulate demand across key routes
- Provide tactical marketing support to revenue & sales teams, including promotions, partnerships, and localised campaigns
- Work closely with teams in Sales, Distribution, Customer Happiness, and Commercial Planning to create and execute high impact offline campaigns that resonate with target audiences
Partnerships & Alliances
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships (travel platforms, tourism boards, co-brand campaigns, among others)
- Drive co-marketing opportunities that enhance reach and brand visibility
Market Intelligence & Insights
- Track industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior
- Translate insights into actionable marketing strategies
- Use dashboards and analytics tools to measure effectiveness and guide decisions
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA in Marketing, Strategy or related field from a premier institute (IIM A/B/C/L/K/I, ISB, FMS, XLRI, SPJIMR etc.)
- 2-3 years post MBA experience in marketing, preferably in aviation, travel, or consumer brands
- Strong experience in integrated campaign management and digital marketing
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and external agencies
