Job Purpose:
Responsible for leading and managing the overall station operations to run smoothly and efficiently whilst complying with the established safety, security, and quality standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Create and maintain the overall station operations processes to optimize resources and rostering activities across all units.
- End to end accountability for monitoring and execution of all operational activities at the respective stations.
- Execute corporate safety, security, and policies to ensure the station, employees and suppliers are compliant with all regulatory and quality requirements.
- Identify and mitigate safety and security risks for customers and employees.
- Ensure error free operational excellence with particular emphasis on safety management, on time performance, baggage handling and future experience.
- Monitor and track operations parameters across all units in the airport and take necessary action, as and when required.
- Collaborate with Lead – IROPS to develop organizational, supplier and individual capabilities to effectively handle E&A, IROPS.
- Plan for and manage exercises, reviews, and update all contingency plans and manual backup procedures.
- Lead, develop, encourage team to achieve success and understanding of department goals while identifying learning opportunities.
- Manage supplier performance levels; set clear direction to suppliers and conduct regular review.
- Drive down costs controllable and conduct rostering to cover all operational shifts.
- Plan and manage the station budget and airport costs with key stakeholders.
- Supervise terminal activities to ensure passengers, pilots and staff are safe.
- Supervise the airport staff and departments to keep and overall tab on the proceedings within the airport.
- Recommend, develop, and implement process documents that define the operations are carried out at the airport.
- Regularly inspect airport facilities and determine the long-term development needs of the airport.
