Job Purpose
The Company is going through massive transformation across all business verticals, and simultaneously growing organically at a rapid pace. Accordingly, a new vertical within Finance has been created to manage the company finances and refine overall business plan in alignment with the company's long-term vision. This role has been created to support the new vertical in managing data and model strategic initiatives to drive the long-term growth of the business. The role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, has strong analytical capabilities, is hands-on and a self-starter, and can work confidently with the Senior Management.
Key Accountabilities
Strategy Development and Financial Management:
- Understand and influence the underlying performance drivers to help drive long-term financial results.
- Develop the Company’s long-range plan, business cases and growth initiatives tailored to airline's needs, identifying and prioritizing areas to deliver value across airline operations and commercial functions.
- Develop business cases and recommendations for new initiatives, products, or partnerships that align with Company’s strategy and business goals.
- Work on high-impact projects that involve core strategic decisions, supporting senior leadership with data-backed insights.
- Ensure alignment of core business goals with emerging trends and industry standards.
- Assist in the formulation and development of business plans, route expansion strategies, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of implemented strategies, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and strategic documents for senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide proactive, insightful, high-quality analysis to support decision making in the context of wider business implications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives.
- Support the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships and alliances with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in using strategic planning frameworks and tools, such as scenario planning, long term planning, cost benefit analysis and strategic roadmaps.
- A forward-thinking approach with a deep understanding of airline industry dynamics, and P&L impact analysis.
Market Insights & Competitive Analysis
- Understand and articulate the airline industry landscape, leveraging competitive insights to position and offerings strategically.
- Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities, threats, and market dynamics that may impact the airline's competitive position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience dissecting complex data to identify actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external consultants, industry experts, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment plans to drive sustainable growth and profitability

Minimum Education Requirement
Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), Finance, Economics or equivalent from a Tier-1 B-school
Experience
- 7+ years in corporate strategy, M&A analysis, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic and transformation projects.
Desired : Previous experience in Airlines; primarily in strategy related roles or management consulting.
