● Work for local planning authorities, involved in development management associated with the local town planning system.

● To ensure that the building plan and special plans form a cohesive entity so that the requirements of rules and regulations concerning construction as well as the demands of good building practises are fulfilled. In addition, they must ensure that the party engaging in a building project received information on factors concerning construction, which affect the fulfilling of duty of taking care.

● Ensures that they have access to all the necessary background information needed for the planning process.

● Compiles the plans for their area as well as the drawings and other documents related to it, which are needed for the construction permit process or during the construction work.

● Integrates the possible modifications occurring during the construction work into the plan.

● Compiles the user and maintenance instructions of the building in regard to their own area of responsibility.

● Arranges the possible construction work supervision assigned to them or appointed to them in the initial meeting
