JOB PURPOSE

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex and diverse contracts, handling litigation as well as providing opinion/advice on different facets of law.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contracts- Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of contracts, including relating to marketing, loyalty marketing, ground handling services, inflight services, flight operations, airport offices, agreements with OEMs, airline partnerships, IT, HR, etc.
  • Templatization / Standardization of Contracts- Identification of contracts that can be templatized and accordingly prepare standard drafts considering all the business requirements and standard positions of the organisation.
  • SOPs- Formulation of standard operating procedures / manuals / checklists for legal processes and ensuring continuous improvements in the same.
  • Corporate Advisory & Legal Research- Provide risk management advice and legal support across all lines of business. Carrying out legal research on a multifarious laws and legal issues
  • Litigation- Handling legal notices and litigation matters, including drafting and review of responses to legal notices, court pleadings, etc.

 

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Legal know-how preferably of travel/hospitality industry
  • Knowledge and experience in handling contracts, litigation and corporate advisory
  • Skills to prepare opinions and brief internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical judgment and a strong business acumen
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented and self-starter

 

QUALIFICATION

B.A.LL.B from a recognized college/university

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
